Miami wedding photographer: how we tell a documentary story

If you are looking for a Miami wedding photographer, you already know the light here does not sit still. It ricochets off the bay, slides under a porte-cochère, and turns a hotel corridor gold at 6:12 p.m. We do not fight that. We follow it.
We are Miguel and Mele — husband and wife, two photographers on every wedding. One of us is usually with you. The other is in the room you just left, or already where you are walking next. That is the whole method: coverage without a crowd of posing prompts.
Documentary, not a shot list performance
A documentary wedding in Miami still includes the portraits you want. What it does not include is an hour of the day spent arranging people into shapes they will not remember. We work the getting-ready rooms, the first look if you have one, the aisle, the speeches, the dance floor when it finally opens. The photographs you keep are the ones that feel like the day — humidity, laughter, a dog in the courtyard, a mother fixing a bustle she has already fixed twice.

We are based in Miami and photograph across South Florida — Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Miami Beach, the Keys, and the quiet inland places that still feel like home. Destination days are welcome when the story asks for it. The work stays the same: two of us, honest light, a gallery that reads like a magazine of your people rather than a catalog of venues.
If you want still-life details of rings and tablescapes, we are probably not your pair. We photograph people. The journalistic, romantic frames — walking, looking, dancing, waiting — are the ones we protect.

Packages start at $3,975. Every wedding is quoted as a custom proposal so the coverage matches your actual day, not a menu you have to reverse-engineer.
